Veteran Actor and Advisor of the Karnali International Film Festival, Shiva Shrestha, Honored by the Film Development Board .

Veteran Nepali actor and action king Shiva Shrestha has been specially honored by the Film Development Board of Nepal. The honor was presented in a program held in the presence of Minister Jagdish Kharel. With over four decades of remarkable contribution to the Nepali film industry, Shrestha is recognized as a prominent star in both Nepal and Pakistan. He has received more than five national awards in Pakistan for his outstanding performances.

Currently, he serves as an advisor to the Karnali International Film Festival, where he continues to play a significant role in enhancing the prestige and international reach of Nepali cinema.
