The “Gurans Dialogue and Film Tourism Interaction Program” was held on the 18th of Chaitra, 2080 (March 31, 2024) in the scenic and tourist-friendly area of Bhichula in Gurans Municipality, which is located on the border of Surkhet and Dailekh. The program featured the participation of Gurans Municipality Chairperson Mr. Top Bahadur Bisi, Executive Chair of the Film Development Board and Nepali film superstar Mr. Bhuvan KC, and producer-director and artist Mr. Akash Adhikari, who engaged in various discussions and interactive sessions. The session was conducted by Mr. Chakrabahadur Chand.

It was concluded in the discussions that this area, located on the border of Surkhet and Dailekh, needs to be promoted as a tourist destination. It was emphasized that if films could be shot in the expansive fields of this region, it would significantly contribute to tourism development. The Film Development Board also expressed the intention to develop this area as a filming location.

During the same event, Mr. Bhuvan KC and Mr. Akash Adhikari were honored with a civic reception on behalf of Gurans Municipality. Additionally, a request letter was submitted to the relevant authorities on behalf of the municipality to designate the Gurans area as a special filming location. The event saw the participation of 250 attendees.
